From November 19 to 21, twenty first- and second-year IB students participated in a three-day study tour to the Kansai region.
This annual program is designed to deepen students’ understanding of university pathways while nurturing key IB learner attributes such as inquiry, open-mindedness, and reflection.
Day 1: Visit to Osaka University & Experiencing the Heart of Osaka
The tour began with a Shinkansen ride from Nagoya to Osaka, where students visited Osaka University, a leading institution known for its global research environment.
They learned about admission options such as IB and international student entrance examinations and explored the campus facilities.
After checking into the hotel, students spent the evening in Dotonbori, enjoying dinner and observing the vibrant atmosphere of the city.
This experience allowed them to connect local culture with their global perspectives.
Day 2: Intercultural Learning at Universal Studios Japan
The second day was spent at Universal Studios Japan. Immersed in an environment filled with diverse cultural themes, students engaged in informal yet meaningful learning.
They broadened their perspectives by appreciating different forms of storytelling, entertainment, and global culture.
Day 3: Visit to Ritsumeikan University – Osaka Ibaraki Campus
On the final day, students visited Ritsumeikan University’s Osaka Ibaraki Campus. Guided by university staff, they toured the facilities and learned about academic programs and international education opportunities. The visit encouraged students to reflect on their personal aspirations and future academic goals.
Our IB course alternates between Tokyo and Kansai university visits each year. Through this study tour, students gained valuable insights into higher education and strengthened their motivation toward future pathways. We hope this experience will serve as an important milestone in their journey as IB learners and global citizens.

11月19日至21日，我校IB课程的一、二年级共20名学生前往关西地区进行了为期三天的研修旅行。
本次研修旨在加深学生对升学路径的理解，同时培养IB学习者特质中的“探究精神”“胸襟开阔”“反思能力”等核心素养。
第一天：大阪大学参观与大阪城市文化体验
学生们从名古屋乘坐新干线前往大阪，首先参观了以国际化研究与教育著称的大阪大学。通过了解IB入试及外国留学生入试等相关信息，学生们对未来的升学选择有了更具体的认识。
入住酒店后，学生们傍晚前往道顿堀，在热闹的街区中享用晚餐并体验当地文化，亲身感受大阪独特的城市氛围。
第二天：在日本环球影城的跨文化体验
第二天，学生们在日本环球影城度过了一整天。主题公园中多元文化元素的设计，为学生们提供了生动而有趣的跨文化学习机会，激发了他们的创造力与全球视野。
第三天：立命馆大学（大阪茨木校区）参访
最后一天一早，学生们前往立命馆大学大阪茨木校区。在大学工作人员的带领下，参观校舍并了解各学部特色及国际教育项目。
此次参访帮助学生进一步思考个人未来的学习目标。我校IB课程每年轮流开展东京与关西的大学参访研修。
本次研修旅行不仅拓宽了学生的学习视野也增强了他们对未来升学的动力。我们期待这次经历成为学生迈向梦想与成长的重要契机。

11月19日から21日までの3日間、IBコース1・2年生20名が関西方面での研修旅行を行いました。
本研修は、大学進学への理解を深めると同時に、IB学習者像に掲げられる “探究心” や “視野の広さ” を育むことを目的とした、年間を通じた重要な学びの機会の一つです。
■ 1日目：大阪大学見学と大阪の街での学び
初日は名古屋駅から新幹線で大阪へ移動し、国際色豊かな研究・教育で知られる大阪大学を訪問しました。
学生たちは、IB入試や外国人留学生入試の最新情報について説明を受け、実際のキャンパス環境を体験することで、進学先を主体的に考える姿勢を高めました。
その後は大阪市内のホテルにチェックインし、夕方からは道頓堀を散策。活気ある街並みの中で、クラスメートと共に食事を楽しむなど、地域文化を肌で感じる時間となりました。
■ 2日目：ユニバーサル・スタジオ・ジャパンでの異文化体験
2日目はユニバーサル・スタジオ・ジャパンで終日活動しました。多様な文化に触れられるテーマパークという環境で、言語や価値観の違いを楽しみながら受け入れる姿勢を学ぶとともに、日常の学習では得られない創造的な刺激を受ける一日となりました。
■ 3日目：立命館大学いばらきキャンパスでの進学探究
最終日は朝にホテルを出発し、立命館大学いばらきキャンパスを訪れました。大学職員の方の丁寧な案内のもと、学部ごとの特徴や国際教育プログラムについて理解を深め、進学に向けた具体的なイメージを得ることができました。
本校IBコースでは、進路探究の一環として、東京と関西の大学見学を隔年で実施しています。
今回の研修旅行を通して、生徒たちは学びの目的を再確認し、自分の将来像をより明確に描き始めています。この経験が、IB学習者としての成長をさらに促し、それぞれの夢の実現につながることを期待しています。
